I can't get over the fact how well all the things have been explained in this book. It was definitely a roller coaster of emotions. Too good.

The aura of true love created in the friendship is not affected by caste, color, Creed and religion. The author has beautifully supported this idea while mentioning the events that took place in the subcontinent's history. The writer knows the history well and has highlighted the standard of friendship and love.

The way the book is wriiten gives the reader an insight to the events of 1947 in a very effective yet brief manner. The concept of friendships in an era of war, closeness in a time of killings is very emotional. Writer has written this extremism of subcontinent it a very light and hear-touching way. Highly recommended!

I always wanted to tell people about this topic and after reading the book, i was all the way thinking that this is what i actually wanted to say always. I hope this book makes a difference and people know the seriousness of this matter. Neither islam nor hinduism supports bloodshed. It is surely among us that we have created our own religions! But it has to and will stop one day! The book portrayed every aspect of the worst side of bloodshed and I hope this conveys the message that "bloodshed is of no benefit to anyone!" NEVER. Live and let live. Peace!

Giving a honest review, the story was owsome. Plot was well executed. story gave me goosebumps at about 3 points. Muslim hindu unity was beautifully explained. I was expecting a more twisted end . That's because story was full of twists in the start and middle. But maybe that's how it is written. More power to you usman ghani. Waiting for more

A very well written and balanced expression taking all us back to the 1947 partition. All i would say it that the level of religious tolerance highlighted by the characters of the story is something that we again need to revive in order to instill peace and humanity.
Kudos to the writter

Beautifully written!
With a well thought out plot, great character development, and expressing sentiments of the people of that time in such a realtable way, in just 10 pages. It is nothing short of extraordinary.

Brilliantly written well executed, the writer seems to have a good knowledge about the past and it seemed that if the writer was present there, at the spot when all the incidents were occuring. Waiting to read more short stories from this writer!
