I couldn’t find anyone I could share what I think with so I picked up the pen. I found the best and most loyal friends in the pages of my diaries. I have written two Urdu poetry books before, published through Dastaan. This is my third book.
Now what does it have? It has my unsaid words. It has unspoken feelings whether about war, love, broken hearts, blank minds, unfulfilled dreams, romance or everything I have been going through. Everything I have been experiencing and observing. Even what type of life partner I fantasize about. We all fantasize about our life partner at least. And a life partner is not supposed to be the opposite gender only— it can be anyone: your parents, your friends or your spouse. This book didn’t start out intentionally but now I am gathering all the stuff I have written to share with you, my reader, just to know how you feel after reading it.
