Urdu has more precise words for this than English does. Judaai is not the same as heartbreak; firaaq is not the same as loss. The lines below know the difference.
“because the love that stayed, through the silence and ache, through the nights no one else saw, was mine.”

““Since this is the last time we’re ever talking to each other again, you were a terrible man to fall in love with, Affan”, she inhaled the words deeply.”

“When you are burning in the heat of emotions, you never live happily; having a bad feeling affects the memory for a long time.”

“When someone so close to heart leaves you in a world, where every hurdle you have to face yourself mere whim is more than enough to shudder a person.”

“Aggressive behavior, mood swings, fighting over petty things for no reason, frustration are all the symptoms that a victim experiences.”

“The pain strikes you like a violent cramp seizing your brain, sharp and twisting, as if something inside your skull is tightening with unbearable force.”

““Says the woman who fell hopelessly in love with a man who couldn’t stand up for himself, is married, and has two kids,” Seher fired back.”

“Even the Moon Left Me was born from silence, from loss, and from the strange beauty that follows both.”

“A woman grabbing a crying child’s wrist, freezing, then letting go when she realized the child was not hers.”

“When others wore their bodies like they belonged in them, she was still tugging at sleeves, hiding knees, covering skin that felt too loud.”

“Seher definitely knew he was looking at her, but things were still too complicated between them to allow him into her life, much less her heart; so she chose not to look back.”
