About the Author

Brian L. Hayes, Geologist, Cook, Punster, writes poetry and plays bodhran while living in suburban Piedmont North Carolina, with his wife, a dog and two cats. An avid cook, who loves trying new recipes, he is the primary cook at home. A fan of Irish music he plays at a local session. Being a chronic punster he believes the shortest distance between two puns is a straight line. He believes that poetry is emotion and thought condensed and expressed as purely as a writer can. His past publications have included Windhover, Sandstorm, anthologies in India and Pakistan, including “Dreamers Never Die”, and a recently published chapbook, “Melancholy Love”..
