Daastan exists because talent has never been the scarce thing in Pakistan — access has. A writer with a finished manuscript and no contacts had nowhere obvious to take it, and we set out to be that place.
We handle a book end to end: editing, cover and interior design, an ISBN from our own registered block, printing, and distribution to bookshops and online. Royalties are paid on every copy sold and tracked on a dashboard the author can open any day of the week.
A book does not end at the printer, so neither do we. Launches, literary evenings and festival appearances put our writers in front of readers, and a title stays on sale long after its publication day.

kafi arsy baad kuch acha parhany ko mila. Well written book. I appreciate the writer. And the line which touched my heart was "dunya ko apni nazar se dekho, apne ap ko dunya ki nazar se na dekho". It was amazing.
The book perfectly describes all the years of your life that you experience till your 20s and gives advice as well. I wish I could have found this book year ago, it could have saved me some heartbreak. A definite read if you are starting 20s or about to start.
