Daastan exists because talent has never been the scarce thing in Pakistan — access has. A writer with a finished manuscript and no contacts had nowhere obvious to take it, and we set out to be that place.
We handle a book end to end: editing, cover and interior design, an ISBN from our own registered block, printing, and distribution to bookshops and online. Royalties are paid on every copy sold and tracked on a dashboard the author can open any day of the week.
A book does not end at the printer, so neither do we. Launches, literary evenings and festival appearances put our writers in front of readers, and a title stays on sale long after its publication day.

A very well written book. It very aptly depicts human emotions those late night thoughts. I would be recommending it to everyone who is in habit of reading a book to sleep. Great work. Thumbs up to the author.
This is a solid, comprehensive textbook that successfully achieves its stated goal of providing an integrated perspective on modern agricultural sciences. Its greatest strength lies in its breadth—connecting crop improvement, production, processing, and nutrition in one coherent narrative. The inclusion of emerging technologies and sustainability principles makes it timely and relevant.
A quietly constructed piece of literature that is so searing in its honesty and the integrity of its words that it can only deeply affect the reader and leave them longing to read more. I have read it a number of times by now and with each read there is always something new to touch my heart.
Brave, bold and beautiful.
