Daastan exists because talent has never been the scarce thing in Pakistan — access has. A writer with a finished manuscript and no contacts had nowhere obvious to take it, and we set out to be that place.
We handle a book end to end: editing, cover and interior design, an ISBN from our own registered block, printing, and distribution to bookshops and online. Royalties are paid on every copy sold and tracked on a dashboard the author can open any day of the week.
A book does not end at the printer, so neither do we. Launches, literary evenings and festival appearances put our writers in front of readers, and a title stays on sale long after its publication day.

Their coordination is very humble and relaxing. The quality of work really impressed me and I would highly recommend Daastan to writers and all who are linked with art or writing.See the original post

After reading the first 3 poems in the online version, I was instantly drawn in, so much so that I ordered the hardcopy just so I can annotate all over it. The author has done a great job with such vivid descriptions that lets the imagination flow. and the book is ART. Can't wait to get my hands on the hardcopy because, now my heart dwells in all the scenes I form in my mind while reading Fatima Ahmed's poetry.
The book is really well written. I really feel that I was also travelling there at that moment. Very well informative for others who love to travel this book should be a travel guide for those. All words, phrases and sentences are BARJISTA means really fit into the scene. I really enjoyed reading the Travelogue. Thanks, Iram Sadiq
A refreshing opening, you can actually feel the breeze and tingles of the grass as you read along. It leads to a gloomy retire but the ending assures a soothing harmony.
Keep writing to bring out the more lively side in you.
